Polyether Polyol QH-307
Description
QH-307 polyol is a low viscosity polyether polyol initiated with glycerine. The polyol is especially appropriate to mix with conventional high viscosity rigid polyols for reducing viscosity.
Typical Properties
| Appearance | Light yellow viscous liquidTransparent Liquid |
| Colour APHA | ≤50 |
| Hydroxyl number (mgKOH/g) | 235±10 |
| Acid value (mgKOH/g) | ≤0.15 |
| Water (%) | ≤0.1 |
| ∑(K+Na+) (ppm) | ≤15 |
| Viscosity at 25℃ (mPa.s) | 250±100 |
Applications
QH-307 polyol is used to produce semirigid foams, coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomers.
Storage and Supply
QH-307 polyol is slightly hygroscopic and may absorb moisture, which would affect the properties of the products. The polyol should be stored in sealed containers and in dry conditions, away from direct sources of heat. Polyol is supplied in drums and tank trucks; or confer with supplier.
Health and Safety Information
QH-307 polyol has a very low odor of acute toxicity and does not present a significant health hazard to users. Normal standards of industrial hygiene should however be observed when handling this chemical. Suitable protective clothing and eye protection must be worn to avoid unnecessary contacts and accidental ingestion. In case of eye contact, seek medical attention.
Fire and Explosion
QH-307 polyol will burn under certain condition and can explode if heated to decomposition temperature in a confined area. Polyols fires can be extinguished with water fog, carbon dioxide or dry chemicals.
