QHAD-8154 Product Datasheet

1. Description

QHAD-8154 is a non‑ionic, polyether‑modified polysiloxane surfactant specially designed for the production of flexible polyether polyurethane foams (TDI/MDI systems). It delivers excellent emulsifying, cell nucleating, and foam stabilizing performance, supporting uniform cell structure, consistent processing, and improved mechanical properties of finished foam. This grade features good compatibility with common polyols, catalysts, and blowing agents, and supports stable production of slabstock and molded foams with low defects and broad processing latitude.

3. Application

  • Mainly used as a foam stabilizer and cell regulator for flexible polyether polyurethane foams
  • Suitable for TDI and MDI‑based systems, including conventional slabstock foam, HR foam, and molded foam
  • Improves emulsification of polyol–isocyanate systems, reduces shrinkage, splits, and densification defects
  • Supports uniform cell size, enhanced airflow, and consistent physical properties
  • Compatible with standard amine catalysts, metal catalysts, crosslinkers, and flame retardants
  • Recommended dosage: 0.5–2.0 pph (parts per hundred polyol), adjustable per formulation and equipment

4. Storage

  • Store in original, tightly sealed containers in a dry, well‑ventilated area
  • Recommended storage temperature: 5–35 °C; avoid direct sunlight, heat sources, and freezing
  • If frozen or exposed to low temperature, warm to room temperature and mix well before use
  • Shelf life: 12 months under proper storage conditions
  • Avoid moisture absorption and contamination with strong acids, alkalis, or polar solvents
  • For bulk storage, maintain closed systems and inert gas blanketing if applicable
