1. Description

QHS-193 is a graft-type, non-ionic polyether-modified silicone fluid, widely recognized as a versatile silicone surfactant with exceptional hydrolytic stability and water solubility. It features a balanced hydrophilic-lipophilic property (HLB ≈ 12), enabling seamless compatibility with aqueous, alcoholic, and hydroalcoholic systems, as well as most organic solvents and industrial formulations.

This product delivers outstanding performance in reducing surface tension, improving wetting, spreading, emulsification, and foam stabilization. It exhibits excellent thermal stability, remaining functional in heated mixtures up to 90°C without performance degradation. 3. Application

QHS-193 is a multi-purpose additive with broad applicability across multiple industries, thanks to its excellent solubility, surface activity, and stability:

  • Personal Care & Cosmetics: Used in shampoos, conditioners, body washes, lotions, and hair styling products. It imparts smooth, soft, and non-greasy skin/hair feel, enhances spreadability, and provides antistatic and moisturizing benefits.
  • Industrial & Household Cleaning: Acts as a wetting agent, anti-fog additive, and emulsifier in glass cleaners, surface cleaners, and automotive care products. Improves cleaning efficiency and surface wetting without streaking.
  • Polyurethane Foam Systems: Serves as a foam stabilizer and cell regulator in rigid/flexible PU foams, ensuring uniform cell structure, stable foam rise, and reduced defects like collapse or shrinkage.

4. Storage & Handling

Storage Conditions

  • Store in sealed original containers in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, strong acids, and oxidizing agents.
  • Recommended storage temperature: 15–30°C. Avoid prolonged exposure to temperatures below 10°C, as the product may become hazy or solidify into a soft wax; this change is reversible by gentle heating and stirring, with no performance loss.
  • Keep containers tightly closed to prevent moisture absorption and contamination, which may compromise product stability and functionality.
  • Storage areas should be equipped with spill containment facilities and comply with local chemical safety and environmental regulations.

Shelf Life & Handling Precautions

  • Unopened shelf life: 30 months from the date of manufacture under recommended storage conditions. Conduct compatibility testing before use if expired.
  • Reseal containers immediately after each use to minimize air and moisture contact.
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (chemical-resistant gloves, safety goggles) during handling to avoid direct skin and eye contact.
  • In case of accidental contact: Flush affected areas with plenty of clean water for at least 15 minutes; seek medical attention if irritation persists.
