QHA TCPP(TOPP) Product Datasheet

1. Description

QHA TCPP (TOPP) is a high-efficiency halogenated phosphate ester flame retardant, chemical name Tris(2-chloroisopropyl) phosphate, CAS No. 13674-84-5. It appears as colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid with low viscosity, good compatibility, excellent hydrolysis resistance and thermal stability. It provides both phosphorus–chlorine synergistic flame retardancy and plasticizing effect, widely used in many polymer systems to improve flame retardancy, processing performance and low-temperature flexibility.

3. Application

  • Polyurethane Foam: Used as flame retardant for flexible/rigid PU foam, endow excellent self-extinguishing and low smoke performance.
  • PVC & Plastic Products: Act as flame retardant plasticizer to improve softness, processability and flame retardancy of PVC, EVA, rubber products.
  • Coatings & Adhesives: Enhance flame retardancy of epoxy, phenolic, acrylic coatings and adhesives with good compatibility.
  • Textile & Synthetic Fibers: Used as flame retardant finishing agent for cellulose acetate, synthetic fibers and non-woven fabrics.
  • Resin & Composite Materials: Applied in unsaturated polyester, phenolic resin and epoxy resin to meet flame retardant requirements.

4. Storage

  • Store in cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouse, keep away from heat sources, direct sunlight, strong acids and oxidizing agents.
  • Recommended storage temperature: 5–35℃; avoid freezing or prolonged high-temperature exposure.
  • Keep containers tightly sealed to prevent moisture absorption, leakage and contamination.
  • Under proper storage, shelf life is 24 months from production date.
  • Handle in accordance with local chemical safety regulations; avoid contact with skin and eyes.
