QHA-TECP (TECP) Product Datasheet
1. Description
QHA‑TECP (TECP) is a high-efficiency halogenated phosphate ester flame retardant & plasticizer, chemical name Tris(2-chloroethyl) phosphate, CAS No. 115-96-8. It is a colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid with low volatility, good hydrolysis resistance, excellent compatibility and low-temperature flexibility. It provides phosphorus–chlorine synergistic flame retardancy, together with plasticizing, antistatic and moisture‑resistant functions, widely used in polyurethane, PVC, coatings, adhesives, textiles and resin composites.

3. Application
- Polyurethane Systems: Flame retardant for rigid/flexible PU foam, improves self-extinguishing, low-smoke and dimensional stability.
- PVC & Flexible Polymers: Acts as flame retardant plasticizer for PVC, EVA, rubber and cellulose derivatives, enhancing softness, processability and flame performance.
- Coatings & Adhesives: Boosts flame retardancy of epoxy, acrylic, phenolic and UV‑curable coatings/adhesives with good compatibility.
- Textile Finishing: Used as flame retardant for synthetic fibers, non-wovens and cellulose acetate fabrics, providing durable flame resistance.
- Resin & Composites: Suitable for unsaturated polyester, epoxy and phenolic resins to meet strict flame retardant standards.
4. Storage
- Store in cool, dry and well‑ventilated warehouse, away from heat, direct sunlight, strong acids, oxidizers and alkaline materials.
- Recommended storage temperature: 5–35℃; avoid freezing or prolonged high‑temperature exposure.
- Keep containers tightly sealed to prevent moisture absorption, volatilization and contamination.
- Under proper storage, shelf life is 24 months from production date.
- Handle in compliance with local chemical safety regulations; avoid skin/eye contact and inhalation.
