1. Description

QHAD-A99 is  a balanced blowing and gelation tertiary amine catalyst designed for flexible polyether polyurethane foams. It provides well‑balanced reactivity between water‑isocyanate blowing and polyol‑isocyanate crosslinking, supporting uniform cell structure, good flow, stable rise profile, and consistent physical properties. It is widely used in conventional slabstock foam, high‑resilience (HR) foam, and molded foam systems, offering broad processing latitude and compatibility with standard polyurethane additives.

3. Application

  • Balanced blowing/gel catalyst for flexible polyether polyurethane foams
  • Suitable for conventional slabstock foam, HR foam, and molded foam
  • Compatible with TDI, MDI, and TDI/MDI blended systems
  • Improves flow, mold filling, and surface quality; reduces shrinkage and splits
  • Delivers stable rise profile and consistent foam mechanical properties
  • Works well with standard amine and organometallic co‑catalysts
  • Recommended dosage: 0.15–0.60 pph (parts per hundred polyol), adjustable by formulation and process

4. Storage

  • Store in original sealed containers in a cool, dry, well‑ventilated area
  • Recommended storage temperature: 5–35 °C; avoid direct sunlight, heat sources, and freezing
  • Keep away from strong acids, strong alkalis, oxidizing agents, and moisture
  • Shelf life: 12 months under proper storage conditions
  • If frozen, thaw to room temperature and mix thoroughly before use
  • Use proper ventilation during handling; avoid skin and eye contact
