QH-8350 Low-Temperature Resistant Rigid Foam Polyether for Cold Chain Transportation (Suitable for Extreme Low-Temperature Cold Chain)
1. Description
This product is a special rigid foam polyether polyol for extreme low-temperature cold chain transportation insulation, made from glycerol and propylene glycol via special polymerization, added with low-temperature resistance modifiers, anti-brittle agents and high-efficiency thermal insulation additives. It is a light yellow to yellow viscous liquid, non-toxic, with good low-temperature fluidity and extreme low-temperature stability, can foam normally in the range of -80~60℃, and the foamed product has excellent low-temperature toughness, no brittle fracture at ultra-low temperature, and excellent thermal insulation performance. It has strong bonding force with various cold chain box substrates (FRP, aluminum alloy, composite materials), and is suitable for the insulation of extreme low-temperature cold chain transportation equipment, such as deep-sea cold chain boxes, medical cryogenic transportation boxes and frozen food long-distance transportation boxes.

3. Application
Core application scenarios:
- Extreme Low-Temperature Cold Chain Boxes: Insulation of deep-sea cold chain transportation boxes, medical cryogenic transportation boxes (for transporting vaccines, biological products), ensuring stable low temperature (-60~-80℃) during long-distance transportation, preventing the deterioration of goods.
- Frozen Food Transportation: Insulation of large-scale frozen food transportation vehicles and turnover boxes, reducing cold loss, ensuring the quality of frozen food, and adapting to long-distance transportation in cold areas.
- Special Cold Storage Equipment: Insulation of low-temperature cold storage rooms and cryogenic storage tanks in the medical and chemical fields, with excellent low-temperature stability and thermal insulation performance, meeting the special storage requirements of low-temperature products.
- Extended Applications: Insulation of low-temperature test equipment and refrigeration pipelines in scientific research institutions, adapting to extreme low-temperature working environments.
- Construction Instructions: Mix with low-temperature special isocyanate at 1:1 (25℃), suitable for factory prefabrication of cold chain boxes and on-site foaming of large-scale transportation equipment. For extreme low-temperature application, pre-cool the polyether to 10~15℃ before foaming to ensure uniform foam. Construction temperature: ≥5℃, humidity <75%; the foam curing time is ≥48h at low temperature. Comply with GB 50264-2013 and GB/T 24572-2009 (cold chain insulation material standards).
4. Storage
- Storage Environment: Cool, ventilated warehouse (5-30℃), strictly avoid low-temperature freezing and high-temperature exposure, keep away from fire and heat sources, and equipped with fire-fighting and explosion-proof facilities.
- Packaging: 200L sealed iron drums, marked with "Low-Temperature Resistant", "Cold Chain Transportation Special" warnings and product information, and labeled with temperature control requirements during storage and transportation.
- Shelf Life: 6 months; if frozen during storage, it can be restored to room temperature naturally (no heating or forced thawing) and tested for performance before use.
- Transportation: Take strict temperature control and insulation measures, avoid transportation in ultra-low temperature or high-temperature environments, handle with care, do not mix with oxidants and acids, and comply with national transportation regulations.
- Others: Wear protective equipment during operation; rinse with water immediately if in contact with skin; properly dispose of waste materials and packaging drums to avoid environmental pollution; store separately from ordinary refrigerator insulation polyether to prevent mixing.
