1. Description

This product is a special combined polyether for low-temperature cold storage, which is the core component of BASF Elastopir® low thermal conductivity polyurethane solution. It is compounded with high-functionality polyether polyol, high-efficiency foam stabilizer, special catalyst and environment-friendly foaming agent, suitable for the insulation needs of low-temperature cold storage, quick-freezing workshop and other scenarios. It is a brownish yellow viscous liquid with excellent fluidity and uniform foaming. The formed foam has the characteristics of ultra-low thermal conductivity, high flame retardancy and high stability, with a thermal conductivity as low as 0.017~0.019W/m·K, and the insulation efficiency is 20% higher than that of traditional products. It can be used for a long time in extreme low-temperature environments of -50℃~80℃ without shrinkage or cracking.

The product's fire rating reaches national standard Class B1 (LOI≥30%), with excellent fire safety performance. At the same time, it adopts a fluorine-free and environment-friendly foaming system, which meets the requirements of green buildings and low-carbon development of the cold chain industry, and can effectively reduce the operating energy consumption of cold storage, achieving an annual energy saving of about 13.6%.

This product is mainly used in the low-temperature cold storage field, and is mainly suitable for the foaming of insulation layers of various industrial and commercial low-temperature cold storage, quick-freezing workshops and refrigerated warehouses, including the insulation filling of cold storage walls, roofs and floors, as well as the production and manufacturing of cold storage sandwich panels.

It can meet the insulation needs of various scenarios such as large-scale automatic stereoscopic warehouses, quick-freezing warehouses and frozen processing workshops, and is compatible with various specifications of cold storage panels such as single-sided stainless steel, double-sided stainless steel and double-sided color coating. It can maintain excellent insulation performance and structural stability in ultra-low temperature environments, effectively reducing cold loss of cold storage and lowering the operating cost of refrigeration systems. At the same time, it can be used for the new construction, expansion and renovation projects of low-temperature storage cold storage for food, medicine, agricultural products, etc., compatible with various production processes such as spraying, casting and sheet forming, and suitable for the construction needs of cold storage of different scales.

4. Storage

1. Storage Environment: Store in a special cool, dry and ventilated warehouse, with the temperature strictly controlled at 10℃~20℃. Avoid direct sunlight, rain and severe temperature fluctuations; the warehouse shall be equipped with fire and moisture-proof facilities.

2. Sealing Requirement: Packed in sealed plastic drums or iron drums. Ensure the packaging is intact, free of damage and leakage during storage. Use up the product within 48 hours after opening; seal the unused part, add a desiccant, and store it in a low-temperature and dry environment.

3. Handling Requirement: Handle with care during transportation to avoid collision, extrusion and damage to the packaging; severe dumping and rolling are prohibited to prevent product leakage.

4. Taboos: Strictly prohibit mixed storage and transportation with open flames, high temperatures, strong oxidants, acidic substances and alkaline substances; keep away from flammable and explosive items, and smoking is prohibited in the warehouse.

5. Disposal of Expired Products: Conduct comprehensive performance testing on expired products. The products can be used continuously only after passing the test; unqualified products shall be harmlessly treated in accordance with relevant environmental protection regulations, and random dumping is strictly prohibited.
